Today is Wednesday.
My children keep these wonderful web logs that allow folks to keep up with some of their daily activities. It helps us not to miss them so much. My fall concert was last evening and today I've been reviewing the CD, listening to the inevitable truth of the microphone. Mostly the students did well. There were some overwhelming soprano moments. That's bad. Things are supposed to be balanced not overwhelmed. Chamber is doing well. My best mixed chorus at McIntosh, but unfortunately the men still sound like high school men. Singers does not sound like high schoolers at all, yet there is something I don't like about their sound. Can't figure it out yet though. Now to work on Christmas songs and Chinese music.
